Universities Australia – DAAD Joint Research Co-operation Scheme

We are one of the 45 projects awarded funding under the Universities Australia – DAAD Joint Research Co-operation Scheme. This scheme facilitates the exchange of early career researchers in Australia and Germany from early 2023 until the end of 2024. The ielab and webis research groups will be hosting researchers from Australia and Germany for two months at a time. The following researchers will be visiting ielab and webis across the two years:

2023:

2024:

  • Xinyu Mao from The University of Queensland, Australia
  • Maik Fröbe from Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena, Germany.

The project involves the two groups working together to automate the searching and screening phases of systematic review creation.

For news about the project, publications, or other activities, please see the project website.
